MIKRON MAKINA SANAYI TICARET LTD.STI.

            Mikron Makina was founded in 1980 in Ankara and was reorganised in 1994 as ‘’Mikron Makina Industry and Trade Ltd.’’. As a member of ASO Mikron firm is manufacturing spare parts of some agricultural equipment, medical devices, defence industry’s spare parts and some special cutting tools. Mikron is one of the main suppliers of the Turk Tractor Company (FIAT) and Erkunt Tractor with its 5000 square meters roofed area and 8000 square meters open area with the 50 employees. In addition to this Mikron has enlarged its covered area by constructing R&D office within the Middle East Technical Univesity (METU) Innovation Center.

            Mikron has taken part in some main project of aerospace also such as F-16 and CN-235 planes of TAI in defence industry. In addition we are producing special CNC tools ’’Turning and Milling Cutting Tools’’. In our products we supply high quality with competitive-appropriate prices. Mikron’s mission is to continually improve its manufacturing technology , machineries to meet whatever requirements the customers have now and in the future. The source of our success is our employees. Their commitment to continuous improvement and meeting the customer’s expectations provides a basis for achieving our mission of manufacturing. The customer demands for ever zero-tolerances. This has encouraged Mikron to develop new processes and machinery. Customers today are looking for equipments; therefore Mikron believes that processes and equipment must change. Also education and training of employees for the new machines and technologies.

            In order to meet high level of performance Mikron has established a system of control which has two parts; one is DATABASE and the other is MANUFACTURING PROCESSES CONTROL. These systems are controlled by Quality Manager. In addition to high level of performance safety is our highest priority at Mikron and its importance is reflected through in all operating standarts throughout the firm. We are committed to ensuring a safe working condition.

            Mikron was awarded with ISO 9001:2000 in 2004 by ABS Q.E. Quality has always been the major issue at Mikron knowing that the quality of the supplier is the loyalty of the customers.
